The ProMetrics Pharma SMART (Sales and Marketing Analysis with ROI Tracking) system combines back-end data management processes with on-line front-end tools to provide a comprehensive suite of functions for the management of sales related data.
SMART is customized to each pharmaceutical/Biotech client. Customization begins using a standard suite of products and templates which are tailored to each customer's unique requirements. Listed below is a sampling of available features. Some fall outside of the standard installation.
The main modules in SMART include, Data Management, Data Processing, Sales Reporting, Call Reporting, Interactive Reports, Analysis, Ad-hoc Reporting, and Expert Advise.
Data Management deals with: Data Vendor Management, Data Feed Management, Business Rule Management, and Sales Data Inquiry Management. We also consolidate payment of data vendors into one single invoice – a service provided to simplify data management.
Data Processing covers Data Validation, Data Integration, Apply business rules, Group Purchasing Organization Member Lists, and Sales Data Sets.
Our reports comprise of Custom Reports, Weekly or Monthly Reports, Daily reports of Alerts, Executive Slide Decks, Field Sales Reports (commonly used reports: Dashboards, Sales by Geography, Goal Attainment, Sales by Account, Prescriber or Practice, Behavior Reports, Trends, and Wholesaler/Distributor), Marketing Reports, Prescriber Expense Tracking, Multiple Sales Forces, and Complex Reports.
Our call reporting function is available on both the web and mobile applications. The mobile device is a sub-set of the web functions. A simple point and click method to is used to enter calls. Data can be accessed by Call History, By Association, By Group, By Contact, or By Account. Each page and each field has user level security which enables precise control over access to information by sales force and by sales hierarchy. Prescribers and accounts can be shared by sales forces or unique to each sales force, or a combination of shared and separate by data field. Call entry and call reports provide real–time access to data entered by the sales force.
A web module is available for Medical Science Liaisons. A separate view is provided for the MSL sales force from the field sales force. Possibility of tracking of expenses by call, follow-up calling activities, and speaker activities.
Custom analysis of sales trends, data issues, marketing inquiries are researched, and findings presented in a deliverable providing summary of issue/requests, findings and recommendation, as specified by client.

Help Desk is available to those having trouble with the SMART system. Help Desk operates 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. Received calls are resolved at the time of the call, if that is not possible, the call is escalated to the appropriate resource and resolved in a timely fashion, usually within 24 hours. All Help Desk calls are logged and a report is sent every Friday, with summary and detail information.
